Sales across the liquor and beer industries have not faltered regardless of the aching economy,  and neither has it for wine. The Business Journal in San Francisco reported that "sales of wine last year increased 6.8 percent in revenue compared with 8.5 percent growth in 2006, according to scan and shopper data presented by Danny Brager, a vice president and group client director for ACNielsen". This makes Vinturi's latest invention, the instant wine aerator— an important and relative piece for wine lovers worldwide. At $40, this little gadget allows a bottle of wine to air out an hour's worth in under a minute. And every wine buff knows wine has to be left to sit about an hour before tasting. Just one more factor eliminating the need for that horrible state we all hate know as "waiting".
