We've featured bike rentals for commuters in past CultureWaves quarters, but now it's much bigger than just a concept or a test market.  It's actually becoming quite an establishment in Europe.  Paris has seen great success, and now London is jumping on the bandwagon.  15,000 bikes, 1,000 stations and more than 7.5 million miles of combined biking have already been implemented in London, and the new scheme will contribute £75 million and 6,000 shared bikes to the mass biking movement.  Not only is this a Green Hot piece of evidence, but also very much part of the Pop Up Lifestyle.  The bicycles aren't the prettiest out there, but they definitely serve a much needed purpose.
