In a recent speech Microsoft founder Bill Gates called urged corporations to practice what he terms “creative capitalism.” Bill Gates, a capitalist mastermind and according to some calculations still the richest man in the world, is no stranger to the idea of Giving Back. Earlier this year he announced his intention to retire from Microsoft so that he can dedicate his full attention to his charitable organization, the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation, which has donated billions of dollars worldwide. Gates noted in his speech at the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum, "We have to find a way to make the aspects of capitalism that serve wealthier people serve poorer people as well,” he continued, "I like to call this idea creative capitalism."
