Infused intentionally with fruit scents by an Italian manufacturer and sold through, these scented throws could have been infused another way but then they wouldn’t be washable.  My 7-year-old niece is a manufacturer of scented throws in her own right but she prefers peanut butter along with her fruit and her mother is not a big fan.  Ink is infused with scent, Royal mail is implementing a scented direct mail campaign, and neuro researchers are finally discovering just how deeply scent affect even the smallest decisions we make.  The amazing thing about these throws is that they are washable.  The site didn’t go into the lifespan of the scent infusion but they did stand by the washable part.  They are also sold out, suggesting that people are ready if not eagerly anticipating all of the possibilities of sensory appeal.
