Molly and Carly Houlahan are 15 and 13 years old, and they are selling honey to benefit the American Cancer Society. Their grandfather passed away from throat cancer four years ago and they began using his beehives to harvest honey to help others. They wanted a way to remember him and to also keep others from the same fate, this seemed like a natural mix of the two. Hives for Lives has thirteen hives they manage, and three years into the project they have raised over $22,000.
