What is exclusive these days?

What I’m starting to think about is how technology and convenience are truly watering down what “exclusivity” looks like. Comic-Con is an amazing thing to experience in person, don’t get me wrong; but at the same time with everything being uploaded and available for purchase on eBay doesn’t the exclusivity get watered down a bit?

A few weeks ago, I was stumbling around my Facebook feed when I saw a survey of “100 Foods to Eat Before You Die.” I figured it was another chain wave of spam that would require me to like the page, subscribe, etc., but I was curious, so I went ahead and bravely clicked onward.

People have been bootlegging music, movies and video games for years; it was once a somewhat difficult process, but with software such as Alcohol 120% and Daemon Tools, it’s easy enough a tween can utilize it. “Do-it-yourselfers”(D.I.Y.’ers) that create prop and costume replicas are already using a 3D modeling program to build efficient plans for their projects. Give them an at home 3D printer and they’re set.
