Beehive Brae honey beer has achieved a major distribution deal with Aldi to bring the beverage to more than 67 stores in Scotland. On the health side of things, some hail manuka honey, harvested in New Zealand and Australia, as the next big superfood because of its health benefits and healing properties. Bringing a range of flavor and function options to the table, honey provides tasty, natural solutions. It is worth noting that if we want the innovation to continue with this sweet nectar, we need to take better steps to protect the bees themselves. In recent years, the bee population has drastically been reduced because of man-made chemicals. manuka honey is already pricey, at an average of $30 per jar, and if we don’t do something to help the bees, all honey could soon be that expensive.
