This is a sweet campaign from Toyota Etios in South Africa. Passersby were prompted to send a tweet that included the hashtag #etiossmile. That set in motion a gumball or gobstopper that traveled through a Rube Goldberg-style machine. I’m a huge Pee Wee Herman fan so this really appealed to the kid in me.

The smiles on the faces of the adults in this video, seem to suggest the same thing. You’re never too old for whimsy.

The Dvr Lifestyle™ wave doesn’t see age as a barrier. The Human Truth™ of this wave is: “I want to pick the good parts.”™ The agency behind this installation took the chance that busy, urban pedestrians will take time out and “play” for free candy.
